I
was hoping to feel good about my supposed last layer of the print... (I
was going to add one more bug by my head) .instead I feel bad because
of some feedback I got from a professor. She thought that the bugs in
the background look like an afterthought, and that the print could be
complete without it. To quote: "I look at the bugs and think, Why?"
Sadly, I'd already finished all but two prints in the edition at that
point, and now I feel as though I have ruined everything. Is it too
much? Too little? How can I make a positive change? Now to fix it I must
do more work? Should I add more color to the bugs? It wouldn't be so
difficult if it wasn't a professor whose opinion I respect.
Always ask "Why?".......and then you'll find many many answers.
